COLLAGE: The Art for Cancer Network
Maureen McNamara is an interdisciplinary artist. Her studio work is with painting, video and sculpture. In addition to her personal art, Maureen works with Collage: The Art for Cancer Network at MDACC with the Palliative Mobile Team and Investigational Clinical Trials. She works with patients and caregivers to express themselves and to alleviate suffering. Maureen also teaches at the Museum of Fine Arts Glassell Jr. School. She lives with her young daughter, and her Architect husband. Maureen studied Art and Psychology in Houston, New York and Italy. She got her Masters in Studio Art from NYU.
